James Eck graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering. His masters thesis was on Compact Antennas for Unmanned Aerial Systems.

He currently works as an Electrical Engineer at Wavetronix and is a savant when it comes to all things radar.
