Carrie O’Neill, P.E., is a seasoned transportation engineer with over 30 years of experience and professional licensure in eight western U.S. states. Her expertise spans design, planning, and construction, including Utah’s largest design-build projects, the inaugural UTA TRAX line, and key infrastructure for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
She has led a diverse range of projects, from bike and pedestrian trails to park-and-ride facilities, roadway projects, traffic signals, roundabouts, innovative intersections, and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
Known as the “Signal Gal,” she has designed and evaluated hundreds of intersections, from straightforward layouts to complex reconstructions, bringing innovative approaches to state and local agencies.
